Ethics Training for Engineers Minnesota

Engineers and Land Surveyors face a multitude of situations and decisions in their daily professional lives. Decisions that can potentially impact clients, employers, employees, elected officials in a variety of ways. It is imperative that even the perception of dishonesty or unethical behavior does not exist. While ethics clearly encompasses broad principles, such as honesty, integrity and fairness, the ethical line is not always clear or intuitive when an engineer is presented with specific situations in the real world.

Most engineers and Land Surveyors have the common desire to do the right thing. This Ethics Training gives YOU the tools and knowledge necessary to go about your job in the right way, even when it involves making difficult yet appropriate ethical choices.

A series of case studies will be utilized to help increase the understanding of the ethical challenges Engineers and Land Surveyors face. Laws and regulations will be reviewed to assist participants to better carry out their work and fulfill the public trust. The program offers tools, tips and strategies for staying within the law while still preserving relationships in an honest, forthright and ethical manner.
